Westerly’s week kicks off with a flavorful evening event. A Taste of Spain: Authentic Spanish Dinner takes place tonight at Christ Church Westerly, offering guests a culinary journey through traditional Spanish cuisine. From bold flavors to thoughtfully prepared dishes, the evening promises a warm, communal dining experience inspired by the rich food culture of Spain.

Start your week grounded and refreshed at Mindful Mondays Sound Bath, a calming experience designed to promote relaxation and clarity. Participants can expect soothing tones and guided meditation in a peaceful setting — an ideal way to reset and refocus.

The business community will gather to celebrate the official Atlantic Audiology Ribbon Cutting, marking an exciting addition to Westerly’s healthcare landscape. The event offers an opportunity to welcome a new local business while supporting continued growth in town.

History and culture take center stage on Saturday, February 21 at 1:00 PM at the Westerly Library & Wilcox Park auditorium. The Dante Society of Westerly, co-hosting with the library, presents “A Journey along the Appian Way, Italy.” Dr. Gary Robbins, Professor Emeritus from the University of Connecticut, will explore the remarkable history of the Appian Way — constructed beginning in 312 BC and stretching 360 miles from Rome to Brindisi. Drawing from his March 2025 travels retracing the ancient road, Dr. Robbins will share stories and insights into how this historic route shaped European history from antiquity through World War II. The lecture is free and open to the public, with no preregistration required.

From international cuisine to local business milestones and rich historical exploration, Westerly offers a full and engaging week ahead.
