Westerly erupted for a season-high in runs, rolling past Moses Brown 16-10. Luke Gwaltney starred on the mound and at the plate, striking out eight over four innings while reaching base in all six plate appearances with four hits, two runs and an RBI. Jack Zerbarini added three hits, four RBI and three runs, and Tom Fiore went 5-for-5 with three RBI and two runs as the Bulldogs piled up 18 hits. Dante Pruitt chipped in two hits and two runs. The win evened Westerly’s record at 4-4.
