Chariho Softball vs Westerly, 05-28-2026

Chariho continued its dominant postseason run Thursday, blanking Westerly 7-0 to advance to the Division I finals. Adriana Jeannenot was outstanding in the circle and at the plate, striking out 11 over seven shutout innings while going 3-for-3 with three RBI. Anna Tretton added two hits, a run scored and an RBI, while Ella Alves connected for her first home run of the season. Westerly managed three hits, including a double from Frankie Arnold, but could not break through offensively. With the win, Chariho advances to a Division I title-game rematch against La Salle Academy on Sunday at Rhode Island College. Westerly remains alive in the tournament and will host Prout in the one loss bracket at Cimalore Field on Sunday.
