Westerly extended its winning streak to 24 games with a 70-46 playoff win over Exeter-West Greenwich on Monday in the preliminary round of the RI State Championship Tournament. Ella Reyes led the Bulldogs with 30 points, while Santanaa Hamelin added nine points, six assists and six rebounds as Westerly improved to 24-1. Nini Olawuyi paced the Knights with 22 points, seven rebounds and five blocks, and Kate Hebert contributed 13 points, six assists and six rebounds. Exeter-West Greenwich fell to 21-2, ending its 17-game winning streak.
